HOW TO BREW BANCHA TEA

Tereré is an infusion made with yerba mate leaves (Ilex paraguariensis) and water with lots of ice. This infusion has its roots in South America (Paraguay, Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina) during the time of the Franciscan and Jesuit reductions, in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries.
It is similar to mate, but it is consumed cold.
